Dr. Albert Ruiz is a unique kind of dentist. Well regarded by his patients for his thoroughness, he takes the time to listen to your needs and expectations and provides you with the best possible treatment options that are within your financial reach and comfort.

Dr. Ruiz is dedicated to advanced dental procedures in restorative and cosmetic dentistry and provides his patients with a gentle, caring and comprehensive approach to oral health. He believes that good oral health is key to overall health. He spends time in educating his patients on the effects of poor oral health and possible interactions with existing systemic diseases.

Born in New Jersey, he lived most of his childhood in Puerto Rico. After attending college and completing a bachelor’s degree in biology, he moved to Washington D.C. where he attained his Doctorate in Dental Surgery at Howard University School of Dentistry in 1991. Soon after his graduation he moved to Florida and started his practice in Sebring in 1991.

He enjoys spending time with his wife and the company of his close friends and medical colleagues. He also enjoys travel, music, dancing, cooking, racquetball and training.

He is a member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, West Coast Dental Association and Highlands County Dental Society. He volunteers his time and dental skills to the non-profit Christian organization Samaritans Touch in Sebring. He speaks English and Spanish fluently.
